I have no idea what we pay....but I did wonder what I was getting for my $538 At the council yesterday.
Seems crazy should at least get a free beer per dog or something!

$50 per dog in Tasman, 2 Dog Limit per residential property (less than 1 Hectare) If you want more then you need resource consent AND a Kennel License.
Having resource consent approved does not mean automatic approval of kennel license. ( tongue in cheek) its a shame the same is not needed to have small tribes of children on one property
I believe its cheaper in Nelson :(

Wanganui cuntcil charge like fck for rego.

$120.00 for non neutered/speyed with non good ownership status.
$12.00 off for prompt payment = before 31July.
$23.00 off for good owner status.
    $25.00 for Neutered/speyed.

So $60.00 is cheapest for Town dog.

If you have 3+ dog in Southland the property must be inspected and "approved".

I agree re humans over breeding with impunity. I will now carefully step away from my soapbox.....

Yep, know of a few badly behaved pig hunting dogs that aren't registered. Don't get anything for my rego either, don't use dog parks or any other facilities that I pay for, just pay the animal control officers salary :yuush:

Cost 28$ for preferred owners eg site inspected for fencing , kenneling etc
    Standard 70$
    neutered Standard 56$
Every one I know is preferred or as they call it now "selected", and special conditions if over three dogs per property in town.
